Its gonna be a LONG time until people don’t think about G Dub when they think about the republican party. G Dub will be on the ticket in the minds of voters for years and years to come. Maybe you could change name of the republican party to something that describes it values better. How about the I’d sell my own mother for a profit party ? Or the America for sale to the highest bidder party.

One slight problem with your assessment, Stophate:

Bush is not on the ticket.

And if you’re willing to “put a trillion into programs” — how about paying my portion, too. I’m broke from losing too much because of the debacle that Obama and his cronies caused by lining their pockets and letting their friends cook the books!

Take a look at what President Bush with the help of the republican party has done over the past 8 years and if you can’t understand why you guys are sucking wind then you need to cut back on your meds.
– Trillion Dollar Deficit
– Largest Expansion Of Gov’t since the new Deal
– 4100+ US troops dead for a huge mistake at best
– Osama still on the loose
– I could go on and on a.k.a. a HUGE failure
These are the issues that drove me out of the party. And this is why people are leaving the republican party in droves. And damn right I would support Obama. I’d much rather put a trillion into programs for our people than into the pockets of defense contractors.

Sorry, fella — I’m sure you’re nice as can be, but your name indicates you’ve had bad experiences …. Obama is a sham — he leads by stealth and intimidation — an empty suit who has no experience in management or legislation. He is not what this country needs.

Ohhhh — his minions may ram enough votes thru to give him a win, but it will be contested for years …. meanwhile, our economy will continue to tank and taxpayers will be relegated to puppets of the state. He’s a socialist — a self-centered, egotistical elistist socialist.
